Hi! Welcome to my website!
Please feel free to explore the links above. If there’s anything you can’t find or need any information, you can find all my contact information under the contact link above.
I am a musical director, conductor, pianist, composer, arranger, and orchestrator. I was born in Utica, New York where my parents used to play cast recordings when I was little and took me to see “Flower Drum Song” on Broadway when I was five. I’ve loved musicals and theatre ever since. At six I started piano lessons and by the time I turned ten I was singing in the Grace Church men and boys choir. We moved to Sacramento, California and in 6th grade I played Koko in “The Mikado” at Orville Wright Elementary School. That summer I was a workhouse boy in “Oliver!” at the Sacramento Music Circus. Six years later I got my first professional job there as rehearsal pianist, and within another few years I became the resident Musical Director.
I’ve worked for many regional theaters around the country, and conducted several national tours. I have musically directed and/or conducted almost all of the classic musical theater shows. You can click on the resume link above to see what else I’ve done. I’ve also worked as a composer on several shows: “Wanna Play?!” a children’s revue which was produced on TV by PBS and is published by Baker’s Plays, “Jailbirds On Broadway” with Cheri and Bill Steinkellner (of the TV show Cheers and the new hit musical “Sister Act“), “Who Am I,” a sequel of sorts to “Wanna Play?!,” and a musical version of “A Christmas Carol.” I am currently on staff at AMDA Los Angeles (American Musical and Dramatic Academy).
